Cue the Hillbilly Music...it's Beer Can Chicken Time!

So my Dad is a huge fan of the Neely cookbook, he jokingly refers to it as his Bible. Well I'm sure this isn't new to many of you, but we made Beer Can Chicken and it was DEEElicious! The chicken was so juicy and the rub was perfect!

It is so easy and believe me, you will enjoy it!

First, spread the rub all over the chicken. We didn't make the Neely rub, so we just went out and bought a pre-made one. I recommend putting it in a shaker because if you put it in a bowl and grab it with your hands you're going to contaminate it with salmonella...which we did, ha!!

Take a can of beer, and dump half of it out. Place it inside the opening in the chicken and stand it up.

Stand the chicken upright on the grill and cook it at 200 degrees for about 1.5 hours.

Do you have any quick and easy BBQ recipes? This one has become a staple here and I LOVE IT!
